More than a plant, BCI Arabia embodies the integration of global expertise with local innovation to shape a brighter future for the Kingdom.

Advanced Facilities for Regional Growth

Spanning 10,000 square meters with room for expansion, BCI Arabia is the first fully automated polyurethane plant in Saudi Arabia and the region. With an initial annual capacity of 60,000 tons, it produces systems for industries including automotive, piping, HVAC, household appliances, and insulation.

Sustainability at the Core

The facility was designed with energy efficiency and circularity in mind. It uses non-toxic materials and technologies that cut energy consumption by up to 60%, while pioneering recycling initiatives such as transforming PET into insulation raw materials and repurposing tires into industrial binding agents.

BCI’s UAE footprint is a cornerstone of the Group’s regional and global network. Across Dubai and Sharjah, BCI combines manufacturing, technical, and corporate capabilities within a platform that continues to evolve through investment in technology, infrastructure, safety, and operational excellence. Following the acquisition of BASF’s polyurethane business in Dubai in 2022, the UAE further strengthened its role in connecting BCI with customers across EAMEI and beyond.

Investing in Safer, Future-Ready Operations

Continuous improvement is strengthening BCI’s manufacturing capabilities in the UAE. The DIC System House has been upgraded for Ex-rated operations and is now equipped to produce pentane pre-blended systems, supporting the transition away from HFCs toward more sustainable technologies while meeting high HSE standards and creating a safer, more efficient, and future-ready operation.

BCI continues to invest in improvements that combine operational efficiency with environmental responsibility. At DIC, ISO tank bulk delivery reduces reliance on drums and IBCs, helping improve logistics efficiency and reduce packaging. Together with the transition away from HFCs and ongoing process improvements, these initiatives are shaping safer, more efficient, and more responsible operations for the future.
